Pretty in Pink

Welcome to our fairy world where everything is  blingolicous, even the fairies like bling. One of the things when I was a little girl was that I was always into sparkling things. But besides that I hate the color PINK. I think it was due to my mother always painting our rooms PINK.

Here is my friend Sasha....my favorite teddy bear that was given to me by a customer of mind. You see,,,,, this little girl would come into my shop at the market every week and only ask for things in pink. One day I asked her..... "why did you like PINK so much." She told me. "God...loves all little girls in PINK..don't she know that. I couldn't argue with her about that.  I told her that I am not crazy about PINK, but I understood, and I would make sure that every week I would bring in more PINK things....just for her. Here is just a few of the things I made just for her......

This was made for little Anna.......Lime Green polka dot ribbon with a pink bow.

This year Anna ask me to make a special Christmas ornament. She loves everything with sparkles and ribbons.

Anna picked out a special Christmas ornament for her great Auntie.

When Anna turned 5 years old she wore this with her pink Tutu.....of course.

Well, Anna loves her PINK.....and it has to be baby PINK.  As I have grown fun of Anna and her PINK, she has rubbed just a little bit of PINK on me.....I now like PINK......

Everyone love to have a birthday party. As a little kid having the perfect hat is important. Here at Fairy Gurlz Play Boutique we love to create something special for this special event. So let's have a party.........but first we will show you how to make the perfect hat.

 

 

 

 

First we need the following supplies; Scrapbook paper, embellishments (Flowers), ribbon, silk flower of choice, and scissors, Hot Glue gun and sticks.

 

 

 

To start your new birthday hat... Make your template for the hat. Then take the scrap paper of your choice (printed on both sides) and cut against the template.

 

 

 

Make sure your Hot gun is at a safe temperature and then place glue on material to seal your hat.

 

When your hat is secured together, We can now start with your embellishment. Let's start with your choice of flower. Place hot glue to the flower and secure it to your hat at the top.

 

 

 

Now you can add any other embellishment you would like.

 

 

This hat is perfect for a Halloween....party.

Blingolicous Season..........

 

Shout Out to all of my fairies, dancers, and singing friends.........welcome back into my enchanting world.

 

 

 

My favorite time of year is slowly approaching us. 'Tis be CHRISTMAS on it's way. As a little girl, Christmas has always been special for many reasons.  It is a time of caring, sharing, and reflections on your journey in life. A life that has many paths, roads, and highways, I might add. 

 

I love the smell of a Christmas tree, Christmas ornament, decorations at the holidays, caroling (although not so much in my city of Miami),  hot chocolate with marshmallows, watching people faces as they unwrap their gifts. When I was older....I found other enticing....sitting by the fire place, sharing company with family and friends, But the one thing most of all is creating treasures with lots a bling......at Fairy Gurlz Play Boutique....we call this "Blingolicous".   Blingolicous means a sprinkle of fairy dust, a shiny gem, a jewel and lacquer......we touch every item we can with a little spirit and love. We are not afraid to Bling it out...our way......

 

This holiday......we have created our first collection of ornaments, each one unique.

Greeting my loyal followers.......now that you have heard about us....Let's get to know each other......I am the "Fairy Glam Enchantress".

Welcome to my world of all things glitter and created with enchantment. I started this adventure several years ago.........well.....STOP!!!!

Let me rewind......When I was a little girls....I used to play dress-up my grandmother.....Annie. Grandmother Annie used to let me play with all of her jewelry pieces including her old hats and shoes....She had lots, and lots of them.  She ignited my imagination of all things created. take this journey with me as today I will start to show you one of our product line the "Fairy Wands"..

 

Our fairy wands comes in two different sizes; small and large. The small size is great for party favors, gifts, or just for decorations. The large size is great for adult giftware.

 

 

Today....I would like to show you how we make our creation.We start with several items pictured; A pair of sissor, glue gun with glue sticks, dowel stick, ribbon 1/4 inch, glitter butterfly ornament, and a flower.

 

 

We start with our prep work first..that is the dowl and your chose of 1/4 inch ribbon. We start with a heated glue gun......by taking our ribbon and dowl and combining a dab of hot glue to the wood and then press the tip of the ribbon. Let it sit for a couple of minutes. When the ribbon is firmly in place....start to wrap your ribbon around the dowl until you reach the bottom. Then at this point place a dab of hot glue to bond it together, snip off any extra hanging ribbon.

Now we are ready to go onto our next step.......

We can start with our Glitter butterfly.  Start with the out sides.....*For this particular butterfly there is an inner and outer. The inner is when the wings are pointing in....oppose to the outer, where we will start. On the spine of the butterfly is where we will place a short line of hot glue....and proceed with attaching our ribbon dowl at the top to our butterfly firmly.  Then let it sit for a couple of minutes. Our next step is to attach our flower to the back of dowl.....(making it bond on the opposite side of the butterfly.

For added enchantment.......add strips of tulle ribbons to top it all off.

I was hook and my journey began.  After obtaining my degree in Business in 2006'  I decided to start my own business.
